Day 1: Bogota arrival

Arrival in Bogota and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 2: Bogota City Tour
Explore La Candelaria, Bogota's historic center, featuring old stately homes and iconic landmarks like Plaza de Bolivar. Visit the Botero Museum to see works by Fernando Botero and renowned artists like Picasso, Renoir, and Dalí. Then, discover the Gold Museum's collection of artifacts from various cultures. End your tour at Monserrate Sanctuary for stunning views of Bogota and the Andes, accessible by cable car or funicular.

Day 3: Bogota – Zipaquirá – Villa de Leyva

Depart from Bogota north towards Zipaquira, passing through the Sabana de Bogota with its flower-filled green houses. After a 1-hour and 15-minute journey, reach the impressive Salt Cathedral. Zipaquira, named after the Muisca tribe leader, Zipa, boasts rich salt mines.

In the afternoon, continue on a 2-hour trip to Villa de Leyva. Check into your hotel upon arrival. This colonial gem features a vast plaza surrounded by Spanish-style houses, cobblestone streets, and a 17th-century parish church.

Day 4: Villa de Leyva – Bogota – Cartagena

Return to Bogota, making a stop at El Fosil and taking a break at the Saint Ecce Homo Monastery. Founded by the Dominicans in 1620, this monastery played a crucial role in evangelizing the region, which was inhabited by indigenous communities.

Upon arrival in Bogota, transfer to the airport for flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival in Cartagena, transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 5: Cartagena Full Day City Tour
In the morning, begin with a panoramic view of the city from La Popa Church and Monastery, followed by a visit to San Felipe Fortress, closed on Mondays). Then, explore the Ciudad Vieja (old city) to see the Convent and Church of San Pedro Claver. Lastly, head to the handicrafts zone of the Bovedas.
