Day 1: Guatemala City arrival - Antigua
Welcome to Guatemala! Upon arrival, meet your guide for your transfer to Antigua. Antigua is one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the Americas, with a captivating charm that makes you feel as though time stopped 300 years ago. From its colonial architecture to its beautiful surroundings, wandering through town on cobblestone streets, you'll experience the splendors of ancient times! Meals included: None.

Day 2: Antigua walking tour - afternoon at leisure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, embark on a guided walking tour of Antigua. Explore breathtaking colonial monuments and discover why this city was the bustling center of the region for the Spaniards. The walking tour will cover the main highlights of this historic city, from the atmospheric Central Park to the hidden passageways of crumbling colonial convents and churches. After the tour, enjoy a free afternoon to explore at your leisure. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 3: Antigua-Chichicastenango Market-Atitlan Lake
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for your transfer to Chichicastenango. Chichicastenango hosts one of the most colorful native markets in the Americas, held every Sunday and Thursday. It attracts not only the K'iche' Maya of the region but also vendors from all over Guatemala, representing many linguistic groups. Your guide will show you the important and iconic church, steeped in indigenous and Mayan history. If you're fortunate, you may witness special ceremonies and a blend of religions. After the tour, transfer to Lake Atitlan for overnight accommodations. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 4: Village tour & flight to Flores
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. Take a private boat transfer to two of the twelve villages surrounding Lake Atitlan. San Juan is renowned for its naïf art galleries, town murals, and natural dyed textiles. This village serves as an example of organization and a tourist destination in the highlands. Its beauty and cooperatives make it an ideal village. After the tour, transfer to Guatemala City International Airport for your local flight to Flores. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Peten for overnight accommodations. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 5: Full day Tikal Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to Tikal National Park. Your guide will provide insights into the temple layout, architecture, history, and theories regarding the disappearance of the Mayans. If you're lucky, you may encounter monkeys, parrots, macaws, and toucans. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a jungle restaurant. Meals included: Breakfast, box breakfast

Day 6: Peten - Guatemala City with city tour.
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide for the transfer to Mundo Maya Airport for your local flight back to Guatemala City. Upon arrival, enjoy a Guatemala City Tour. Guatemala City, founded after the earthquake of 1773 destroyed Santiago de los Caballeros (Antigua), is the country's fourth capital. It has nearly 4 million residents and is the country's most modern city, home to museums, restaurants, bars, and cafes. The tour includes a guided tour of the historic downtown center, visits to the Cathedral, National Palace, 6th avenue, and the central handicraft market. After lunch, visit the Ixchel museum. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 7: Guatemala City departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport in time for your international flight. Meals included: Breakfast.
