Day 1: San Salvador arrival
Arrive at San Salvador airport. Our staff will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in San Salvador. Meals included: None.

Day 2: Joya de Ceren-San Salvador Volcano
After breakfast, depart for Joya de Ceren archaeological site, located 35 kilometers from San Salvador. This Mayan farmer village, known as the "Pompeii of America," was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Preserved by volcanic ash from the Caldera volcano eruption 1400 years ago, the site features housing structures, a Mayan sauna, a shaman's house, and ceramics. Transfer to El Boquerón National Park at 1800 meters above sea level, known for its massive 1.5-kilometer-wide crater, 558 meters deep. Hike around the crater, enjoying local flora and fauna. Visit the El Boquerón Museum to learn about the area's history. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 3: San Andres, Tazumal and Ataco Village
Begin the day with breakfast and a transfer to San Andres archaeological park, 40 kilometers from San Salvador, in the Zapotitan valley near Joya de Ceren. Explore the acropolis with pyramids and habitation houses. Visit the Tazumal archaeological site, located 80 kilometers from San Salvador, within a 10 km2 archaeological area that includes other sites. Discover the Mayan settlement that thrived from AD 100 to 1200, influenced by Copan, Teotihuacan, and Toltec cultures. Continue to the charming Ataco Village, famous for gourmet coffee and colorful murals. Take a walking tour of the village's main monuments and streets before returning to the hotel in San Salvador. Meals included: Breakfast.

Day 4: Cihuatan & Suchitoto
Cihuatan & Suchitoto. After breakfast, transfer to Cihuatan, located 37 kilometers from San Salvador. Explore this spectacular and significant archaeological site, covering around 300 hectares with ceremonial centers, acropolis areas, and domestic spaces. Visit a Rum factory to learn about the rum-making process and enjoy tastings. Then, head to Suchitoto for lunch. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of Suchitoto's main streets and squares. Return to the hotel in San Salvador. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 5: San Salvador departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in time for your international flight. Meals included: Breakfast.
