Day 1: San Salvador arrival
Upon arrival at San Salvador airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: San Salvador City Tour - Puerto de la Libertad
After breakfast, explore San Salvador's main avenues and monuments. Visit Centro Historico, Metropolitan Cathedral, Gerardo Barrios square, Plaza Libertad, Plaza Morazan, and El Rosario church. Transfer to Puerto de La Libertad on the Pacific Ocean, visit the fisherman's pier and the "Malecon." Return to San Salvador in the afternoon.

Day 3: Joya de Ceren & Cerro Verde
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Visit Joya de Ceren archaeological site, known as the "Mayan Pompeii." Explore the well-preserved Mayan settlement covered in volcanic ash from over 1400 years ago. Visit the Temezcal (Mayan Sauna) and its museum displaying ancient cooking and farming utensils. Then, visit Volcanoes National Park, walking through the tropical forest within a huge crater at 2,000 meters above sea level. Capture photos of Coatepeque Lake, Izalco volcano, and Santa Ana volcano. Return to San Salvador.

Day 4: Boqueron & Suchitoto
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to San Salvador volcano, 1860 meters above sea level, to visit the large crater "El Boquerón," which last erupted in 1917. Explore this popular weekend getaway spot for Salvadorans. Suchitoto, known as "Flower Bird City" in the Nahuat language, is famous for its architectural style, cultural traditions, and local festivals. Visit Bird Island in Suchitlan Lake, an important bird resting and breeding place. Learn about traditional cloth coloring at an indigo workshop. Visit the "Centro de Arte Por La Paz" promoting peace through the arts. Explore Santa Lucia Church, art galleries, Portales, and parks. Return to San Salvador.
